Jeff Ashton
Jeff Ashton is "of counsel" to the Chartered Law Offices of Troum & Wallsh. Before joining the firm, Jeff Ashton was known as one of the most experienced homicide prosecutors in the history of Orange County, Florida, retiring after representing the State of Florida in the Casey Anthony murder trial. During his 30-year career as a prosecutor, he completed 300 jury trials and more than 70 successful homicide prosecutions. Jeff Ashton was involved in the first prosecution in the nation to introduce DNA fingerprinting in 1987, skillfully utilizing forensic scientific evidence throughout his career.
